Bought is a 2015 Documentary in which Tony Bark (Quicksliver from Xmen not the MArvel extended universe) tries to tie together all sorts of health based conspiracy theories. The films titular idea is that big pharma is paying to spread diseases. This frankly idiotic idea is repeatedly asserted by a cavalcade of the under qualified, misrepresented, and down right morons.
Consumed is a 2015 film that details the descending mental state of the main protagonist Sophie. Sophie comes to believe that she is being targeted by Big-Agro as she is slowly putting together the pieces that her sons mystery illness is the result of GMO foods. The Nerds are joined by Kitch from Trolling with Logic to review this fine attempt at propaganda.
This time the nerds are joined by David from The Risk Monger. Both David and James were mentioned in a times article for their stance on the IARC glyphosate monograph. David has found that conflicts of interest could explain the working groups choice to class glyphosate as a possible carcinogen.
Myles and James review the recent report from the WHO’s IARC devision on glyphosate. In May 2015 the IARC released a press release detailing their findings on 5 herbicides, one being glyphosate, the active ingredient in roundup. This report is a shockingly poor example of scientific reporting and is written in such a manner to mislead the readers. The authors use of words and lack of citations is of real concern and paints an unfair, potentially biased view on the safety of glyphosate.
Myles and James are joined once again by Kevin Folta to talk about the outcome from the FOIA requests. Kevin is being accused of being in the pocket of Big Agro for having a fund allowing him to engage the public about what the science actually says.
James is back from his trip to the States. He was lucky enough to get to meet up with Vance Crowe for a trip to southern New Mexico to meet people growing and selling GMO cotton.
Myles and James are joined by Fred Perlak from Monsanto co. Fred was part of the original team that developed and later launched Bt cotton. Fred went on to be VP of Monsanto co in Hawaii and became a distinguished science fellow. We were lucky enough to get an hour of Fred’s time to ask him what ever we liked.
The science #14 have had their personal emails requested via FOIA in an attempt to show that bigAGRO and these scientist are in cahoots in order to mislead the public and government about the safety of GMOs.

Myles and James are joined by Vance from Monsanto. We have searched through our old videos and other comments we have had regarding Monsanto and asked them directly to Vance. Vance is the director of millennial engagement for Monsanto. You can find him on twitter @VanceCrowe
